Open the contract in ContractHero and click “Ask AI” in the lower-right corner. The chat window opens next to the document, and you can ask your question in plain language—without search commands or any special phrasing. The answer is presented in a clear, organized format; if there’s more than one piece of information, it’s displayed as a table. Notification banners also highlight important points, such as a tip regarding the notice period.
Where do the answers come from?
Exclusively from your contract data in ContractHero. The assistant does not draw on general AI knowledge and does not supplement information from other sources. If something isn’t in the contract, it won’t be answered. That’s exactly what sets it apart from a general chatbot to which you upload the contract file.
Can I check where an answer comes from?
Yes, and that’s the most important part. Each answer includes a link to the section of the contract where the information comes from. One click takes you directly there, so you can read the original text. This means every piece of information can be verified, which makes all the difference—especially when it comes to legally sensitive issues.
Can my colleagues see my questions?
No. The chats are private and separate for each user. No one else can see what you ask or the answers you receive.
Can I find past conversations?
Yes. All previous chats are listed in the chat history in the left-hand menu. This means you can go back to a question you asked two weeks ago without having to ask it again.
